Collection of Stone Monuments
A part of the epigraph collection of The National Museum of Uzice, exhibited in the collection of stone monuments belongs to the period from the second half of the second century to the first part of the fourth century. The monuments originate from the region of Kosjeric municipality, Pozega municipality, Uzice municipality, Nova Varos municipality, and Prijepolje municipality.
In ancient period the territory where these ancient monuments were found entered the boundaries of the eastern province Dalmatia.
In the collection of stone monuments there is the exhibition of twenty-three tombstones (cipuses, stelae, cubes), sacrificial altars, statues of lions, Corinthian capital and fragments of ancient marble stones.
